Bike of the Month for October

Triumph Speed Triple

Another naked sportbike! Is there a trend here? The Speed Triple is Triumph's Monster, but not nearly so beautiful. A big, brutish bloke of a bike, with dual bug eyed lights, huge exposed radiators and hoses, and paint so luridly green you need a Chernobyl steel and concrete garage to store it in. Of course, I'm naturally predisposed towards British bikes, but don't let that admission of prejudice stop you. This is a fun bike, in a mad dogs and Englishmen sort of way. And this year, it gets the 955cc triple that was formerly the exclusive domain of the T595 (now 955i) Daytona for the last two years, but retuned for more torque. I like it. I want it.
